EDIT: Town Planner Elizabeth Hughes says the plowing will most likely take place in mid-April.
Town Planner Elizabeth Hughes says Tom Napoli, one of the owners of Idylwilde Farms, has volunteered to plow the community garden plot this year for free.
It's difficult to say exactly when the plowing will be done, because Idylwilde will be in the middle of their many springtime tasks, and he'll have to fit the task in. Napoli said he should have it completed by May 1st.

2010 Garden End-of-Season Report
To get a sense of what was done at the garden last year, take a look at Jen Hoff's 2010 Community Garden End-of-Season Report, as presented to the town.
Welcome to the 2011 Season!
It's mid-March and we're already looking forward to getting started -- doesn't an afternoon in the hot sun sound good about now?
Our town planner, Elizabeth Hughes, has begun accepting applications for garden plots for this season. Application forms and Rules and Regulations info is available at the town's Agricultural Commission Web site. Elizabeth can be reached at (978) 263-1116.
Please spread the word about the garden and encourage your friends and neighbors to get involved. It's a great activity for all ages, and a unique way to meet members of our community.
As the days go by, we'll be posting more information about the garden, including gardening events and organic gardening tips, and there is always an opportunity to post comments and questions.
To get in touch with Jesse and I, drop us an e-mail at Flerra.GardenManager@town.boxborough.ma.us. We're not experts, but we are avid -- so if you post a question here you may be able to get a response from the Flerra Community Garden members.
